The Founding of Chiropractic

In his youth, Daniel David Palmer, the founder of chiropractics, explored the spring woods near his home in search of skeletons of animals that had perished the previous winter. Occasionally, he would find injured animals, bring them home and nurse them back to health. For broken bones, Palmer would create miniature splints from twigs and strips of cloth.
